Episode 4: Bring Me the Hands of Abe Vigoda

Ace has just answered his phone, and we begin by eavesdropping on his half of the ensuing conversation.

ACE (on the phone): Oh my gosh… Well, I figured it would be that much… Yeah, but it’s for a good cause… Well, Jack and I are on our way. We’re about to Sardis Lake and Jack is interviewing me in real time about my time on Jury Duty… Will you read his article when he publishes it? Okay, all right. You too.

JACK: I kept recording because this is—what do you call that? It’s verité. It’s all going in there. That’s life. That’s the stuff of life!

ACE: My wife was calling me about us donating paint to our son’s drama program. They’re putting on a production of Little Shop of Horrors.

JACK: So the acting bug continues!

ACE: My son, he is into acting. He’s playing the dentist.

JACK: Oh yeah. That’s a… that’s a plum role. Uh, much like your performance as the bartender in Jury Duty. [See Episode 3.]

ACE: Well, sadly, what I’ll say is finally, when the movie came out, I was living in Atlanta, and several friends and family, we all went to see the movie…
