JACK: So, as you’re doing all this stuff, uh, how do you see your future? Are you feeling like, “I’m here! I’ve got my foot in the door!”?
ACE: I… it… it was the inside of the sausage factory. And…
JACK: Mm! That sounds delicious!
ACE: You saw a lot of people working in film who did not really like what they were doing. It was a job to them.
JACK: What? Jury Duty? Was just a job to these people?
ACE: I don’t think anyone on that set was really excited to be there.
JACK: What about Pauly Shore? Was he excited?
ACE: Pauly Shore was, at the time—this was the big rumor on the set—trying to transition out of comedies. So…
