Q. My neighbor’s dog often leaves solid waste on the tree lawn in front of his house. The piles are huge (the dog is a St. Bernard), and the owner has never once made an effort to clean up after his pet. The grass is technically the property of the city — should I install a passive-aggressive sign stating that dogs are not allowed to defecate there?
A. No.
