Kent Goes to Chelmsford: Episode 2

Kent Osborne lives in Vermont. Jack Pendarvis lives in Mississippi. The two old friends, each sleep-deprived and noticeably loopy from traveling all day, met up at a hotel bar in Burbank, California, to discuss Kent’s role in the 1992 drama School Ties.
Episode 2: It’s All Going In
KENT: This is going to blow your mind. The desks from School Ties… we were shooting in the classroom and I lifted the top of my desk and I saw a piece of masking tape that said “K. Overstreet.” Knox Overstreet, who was one of the characters from Dead Poets Society.
JACK: Oh! That did not blow my mind because I did not remember that name.
KENT: Well, I saw it, and I said, “That’s Knox Overstreet! These are the desks from Dead Poets Society!” And all the other actors lifted their thing and they all had pieces of tape that had a character name… so the desks from School Ties were the same desks from Dead Poets Society.
JACK: We’ve blown the lid off of that!
