Sirs–
First of all, I am thrilled that you have selected me to be a cast member on the upcoming season of the hit reality show Alone. Proving my mettle as a survivalist by being left by myself in the rugged land adjoining the Arctic Circle has long been a dream of mine. The knowledge that I have beat out thousands of other aspiring survivalists for the chance to win $500,000 is humbling.
Like countless other “Alone” fans, I have often wondered if I could push myself to my limits, outlasting nine other contestants while surviving in the wilderness with only the most rudimentary tools. Who can forget Roland’s triumph in Season 7, spending a full hundred days in the barren, frozen tundra? Can I be the man to make it to day one hundred and one? My heart says, “Hamilton–yes.”
